The Role Our Water Infrastructure team is looking for a talented Senior Civil Designerto design, coordinate and take the lead on project delivery for various Water Infrastructure projects both locally and nationally. As a key member of our multidisciplinary water team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of major capital projects and facility upgrades that support both local and ANZ-wide initiatives. Our team works across the full water cycle, delivering impactful projects such as:
- Major pipelines
- Large pumping stations
- Advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plants With a minimum of 7 years' experience in a hands-on capacity, you will play a key role in:
- Concept design and delivery of water infrastructure projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
- Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally and contribute to effective client relationship management
- Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma
- 7+ years industry experience working with an engineering design consultancy
- Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Water infrastructure project experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant Australian design standards and local regulations
