About the Role The Philanthropy Coordinator, Trusts & Foundations supports the delivery of UTS's philanthropic trusts and foundations relationship‑building strategy activity through coordinating donor engagement, stewardship and proposal development. Working closely with senior fundraisers and academic stakeholders, this role contributes to securing philanthropic support aligned to University priorities and donor interests. Role responsibilities
- Support the management of a portfolio of relationship‑based philanthropic trust and foundation donors and prospective donors.
- Coordinate donor communications, meetings and engagement activities, including logistics and both internal and external stakeholder liaison.
- Assist with the preparation of cases for support, proposals, briefing notes and funding submissions.
- Support stewardship of trust and foundation donor relationship through impact reporting and tailored communications.
- Support and participate in initiatives that elevate UTS's profile in the philanthropic sector inspiring increased engagement with philanthropic individuals and organisations whose interests align with UTS vision.
- Maintain accurate donor records, opportunity tracking and reporting in CRM systems.
- Support compliance with university procedures for philanthropic funding, reporting and record keeping.
- Work collaboratively across the Alumni & Philanthropy Unit and with academic and professional stakeholders. About You Skills, attributes and knowledge
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly for donor‑facing materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional judgement and discretion when handling donor information.
- Collaborative working style and confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of donor engagement, stewardship and fundraising practices.
- Awareness of data governance, privacy and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Experience
- Experience in a fundraising, advancement, grants, or stakeholder engagement environment.
- Experience preparing proposals, reports or donor communications.
- Experience maintaining records and working with CRM systems.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant professional experience. What We Offer Base Salary Range: $97,332
- $105,385 (HEW6) plus 17% superannuation (pension). The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis. UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Perks including flexible work practices, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
