The Role We are currently seeking a Principal Designer (Bridges & Structures), to design, coordinate and take the lead on project delivery for various Rail & Metro Transport Infrastructure projects both locally and nationally. Key Responsibilities
- Concept design and delivery of rail projects, with a focus on bridges
- Define project workflows and establish efficient drafting processes from project inception
- Develop and implement custom Revit tools, Dynamo scripts, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Support projects by creating tailored scripts and workflows to meet deliverables with high efficiency
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality outputs
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the design and drafting team About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma
- Minimum 10-15 years’ bridge design experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, including advanced family creation and parametric modeling
- Strong experience with Dynamo scripting, automation, and process optimization
- Ability to develop internal Revit tools and standards to enhance team productivity
- Deep understanding of bridge detailing, verification, and set-out processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performing team What We Offer
