A growing product business is entering its next phase of platform evolution. The product is live. Customers are active globally. Engineering investment is accelerating. Now they’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to help shape how the platform evolves from here. This is a rare opportunity for a strong Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Solutions Architect to step into a broader architecture leadership role inside a fast-moving engineering environment. You’ll work closely with senior engineering leadership while helping drive platform scalability, modern engineering practices, system design, and long-term technical direction across a growing cloud-native product platform. Importantly, this is not a governance-heavy architecture role sitting outside delivery. This is for someone who still enjoys solving technical problems, improving systems, mentoring engineers, and remaining close to the code. - Modernising platform architecture and engineering standards
- Improving scalability, reliability, and developer experience
- Reducing technical debt across distributed systems

- Improving observability, testing, and engineering quality
- Supporting AI-enabled product and engineering initiatives
- Helping shape cleaner, more maintainable platform design
- Coaching engineers through practical technical leadership This role offers significant ownership and visibility while still being highly collaborative and hands-on. What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing scalable backend and cloud-native platform solutions
- Contributing to architectural direction and engineering standards
- Helping modernise existing systems and services
- Working closely with engineering and product leadership
- Supporting platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Coaching engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
- Remaining hands-on across architecture discussions and engineering delivery
