Financial Services | Freelance / Ad Hoc | Remote (Must live in Australia with full working rights) About the Opportunity We're a fast-moving fintech brand in the lending space, building a challenger identity that stands apart from traditional finance. Our in-house creative team handles the majority of brand and design work, and we're now looking for a skilled freelance Motion Designer to join our trusted supplier network. This isn't a full-time role — it's an ongoing freelance relationship. When motion work lands (and it can land rapid), you'll be our go-to. You'll be briefed with a storyboard and references, and trusted to execute, package, and deliver to spec without hand-holding. What the Work Looks Like
- LED animation assets for live venue partnerships and activations
- Broadcast‑ready motion graphics packaged to TV delivery specifications (including free‑to‑air)
- Social and digital animation across brand and campaign work
- Adapting and tweaking existing After Effects project files to extend or refresh past work
- Fast‑turnaround deliverables — sometimes 1–2 days from brief to delivery What We Need From You
- Strong command of After Effects — this is your primary tool
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro for packaging and final delivery workflows
- Solid understanding of broadcast delivery specifications, including free‑to‑air TV requirements
- Ability to work from a provided storyboard and reference set and execute with minimal direction
- Comfort working inside existing project files and brand systems
- A reliable turnaround — when we reach out, we need to know you can move Bonus Points
- Experience delivering assets for stadium LED and large‑format digital screens
- Background in brand or advertising animation (not just social/content)
- Some exposure to financial services, fintech, or regulated industries
- An eye for motion beyond execution — you can flag a timing or movement improvement without being asked Engagement & Rate This is a freelance, ad hoc engagement paid on a day rate or hourly basis depending on project scope. Volume varies — typically 1 to 2 projects per month, sometimes more during campaign periods. Work is fully remote. We're not looking for someone between jobs. We want a career freelancer who runs their own client roster, is responsive, and treats every brief like it matters — because for us, it does.
