- $ 87,739 p.a. pro-rata p.a. + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe Research Assistant – Clinical Trials provides clinical trial knowledge and expertise to the Assistant Director, Senior Research Academics and the Clinical trial team within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Diabetes Centre. They will support the preliminary stages of grant applications, maintain research data integrity, and ensure effective communication with survey participants. They also contribute to maintaining organised research records, readying data for presentations and reports.Your key responsibilities will be to:assist with the coordination of routine research taskdata collection and analysis through patient follow-ups and participant questionnaires, ensuring data quality and accuracyassist with the documentation process for research publications, maintaining comprehensive research recordsassist with the collection and processing of physical activity data using objective activity monitorsfacilitate personable communication with a broad range of stakeholders, and collaborate with team members to continuously improve stakeholder relationsengage with stakeholders to address concerns and gather feedback, maintaining effective communication channels and collaborating with the team to enhance stakeholder relations.About youWe are seeking for an exceptional Research Assistant – Clinical Trials who has:a tertiary qualification in health, allied health, medicine and equivalent relevant experienceproven computer literacy and proficiency in using various research and administrative software applications, that may include Microsoft Suite, REDCap and other relevant softwareexcellent written and spoken communication skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including study participants from diverse backgrounds and physical impairmentsstrong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periodsstrong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a focus on building inclusive and supportive work relationships, and ability to work independentlyclinical research skills and willingness and determination to undertake clinical training required for the role.Work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
