Maritime Terminal Security & Operations Lead (City of Sydney)

The Terminal Security & Operations Manager provides day-to-day operational leadership across maritime services. This role combines client support, field leadership, reporting oversight and hands-on operational management, including acting as a TSM as required. Key Responsibilities
- Support maritime clients and stakeholders with timely updates and strong service coordination.
- Ensure contractual reporting, billing input and operational records are completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee daily cruise and static site operations and maintain a visible on-site presence on critical days.
- Lead field staff, support team readiness and assist with staffing, equipment and seasonal planning.
- Manage complaints, operational issues and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain emergency preparedness, site SOPs and operational standards across the portfolio.
- Act as Terminal Security Manager to support field operations.
- Current Security Licence 1AC.
- Port Facility Security Officer certification, or the ability to obtain it.
- CERTII TSP – Screening Officer (or able to obtain and maintain)
- 5 years’ experience as a manager in maritime or aviation security operations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an MSIC.
- Must hold and retain CISC Accreditor training.
