- Sydney (SYDHA), 16 Phillip Street, 2000 Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you will be leading the hotel housekeeping operation, playing a pivotal role in defining and delivering housekeeping operational excellence, orchestrating seamless daily operations while upholding the highest standards of luxury service, cleanliness and presentation, guaranteeing a luxury InterContinental experience to our guests — No detail is too small, and no request is too large. Supported by our in‑house assistant manager and supervisor, you will lead our external housekeeping team, partnering with them to ensure they have the tools, resources and support needed to achieve our IHG Way of Clean standards, together with maintaining the very highest presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces. What we need from you We are looking for an experienced and self‑motivated Housekeeping leader; ideally with a proven track record in working within a high‑volume luxury environment. You will have a passion for luxury hospitality and a reputation for delivering exceptional results. A solid communicator, highly organized, flexible and a great motivator, you will lead your team from the front, inspiring them to execute the highest standard of work on a daily basis. In addition, you will need to manage the department’s P&L;, achieve payroll targets and control supplier costs. Please note you must hold full Australian working rights without restriction.
