Estimator – Class 2 Developments ($100M project value) We’re partnering with a highly respected 4.5 Gold Star rated iCIRT Tier 2 Developer/Builder based in Eastwood, NSW to appoint an Estimator to join their growing team. This is a newly created role, established to support the continued expansion of their development pipeline and to work closely alongside the Director in a highly collaborative environment. The business has built a strong reputation over 30 years in the industry, with a genuine family-style culture where long‑term staff retention, trust, and teamwork are at the core of how they operate. About the Role You’ll take ownership of estimating and preconstruction activities across a solid pipeline of residential and mixed‑use developments, including:
- Medium‑rise residential and urban infill projects Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost plans, feasibility studies, and tender submissions
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and development requirements
- Engage and manage subcontractor pricing and trade packages
- Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and build efficiencies
- Work closely with the Director on project strategy and procurement decisions
- Support ongoing improvement of estimating systems and cost databases
- Contribute to early contractor involvement (ECI) and development planning stages Requirements
- A strong Intermediate Estimator ready to step into a new environment
- Proven experience within a builder or developer setting
- Strong exposure to Class 2 residential apartment projects or mixed‑use development
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
- Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and directors
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset What’s on Offer
