- Demonstrated capacity to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative PDHPE faculty programming for Years 7‑12, with the capacity to effectively engage a diverse range of learners.
- Capacity to lead staff with diverse teaching experience and to work as an integral member of the school executive.
- Demonstrated ability to establish a cohesive culture and to effectively manage the teaching and learning challenges inherent in a multi‑campus comprehensive high school.
- Capacity to provide effective leadership, management, and oversight of the whole‑school sports program, ensuring its consistent and efficient operation in alignment with departmental policies and school priorities. General Selection Criteria 1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice. 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programmes. 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams. 4. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents. 5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning. 6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
