Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 88 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.Initially 1 month fixed term contract with prospect to extend month to monthWorking hours: Monday to Friday 9-5About the OpportunityAs the Housekeeping Team Leader, your primary focus will be providing efficient management and coordination of the cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring a safe, high-quality cleaning and laundry service to our residents in compliance with legislative requirements.This is a hands-on position that requires you to lead from the front.Directing and supervising staff in their dutiesRostering and replacing staff when absentEnsuring staff are competent to use machinery required for their positionEnsuring that cleaning of residents’ rooms and public areas meets the standards and infection controlEnsuring that laundry services are conducted in a safe and efficient way that meets the needs of the site and residentsReporting any evidence of pest infestation and breakdown in equipment or standardsResponsible for managing and working within budgets for cleaning & laundryManage the ordering, delivery, stock control and storage processesAbout youThe successful candidate must demonstrate the following:Experience in housekeepingDemonstrated experience in positive staff motivation and enhancement of performance of teamsAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenHighly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksMaintain a high level of professionalism at all timesHighly motivated and able to take initiativeMaintain a clean and tidy work environment at all timesUnderstanding of the Residents’ Charter of Rights, highly desirableUnderstanding of the Standards and Guidelines for Residential Aged Care Services, highly desirablePlease Note: Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker CheckBenefitsOur culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
