About the opportunity HealthShare NSW is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Waste Handler / Driver to make deliveries in a manual vehicle. In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well‑being of patients in our hospital. Your tasks will include collecting waste from all streams from the disposal rooms and storage areas and transporting it through a truck or tug to the collection and processing points. Waste streams include general waste, recyclables, clinical and related wastes and soiled linen. This position is also responsible for maintaining the waste area, vehicles and equipment, including bins, in a clean and tidy state. Class C NSW manual drivers licence is required. Shifts are on a rotating roster across various shifts you will need to be available from 7:30am to 4pm on a 7 day basis. Candidate must have Australian work rights. Benefits
