Job Summary As a Junior Solution Architect at RedHat, you collaborate with customers and help them success by using RedHat products and services. Your role is to understand customers’ challenges and requirements and address them with RedHat technologies and solutions. Program Overview During your first year, you’ll participate in the FASTER Program – a comprehensive 12‑month onboarding and development program. You’ll gain hands‑on experience with RedHat’s portfolio, learn from seasoned experts, and contribute to real‑world customer solutions from day one. Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ challenges and requirements and address them with RedHat technologies and solutions.
- Support the Sales organization’s goals to deliver customer business value, advance opportunities by obtaining technical wins, educate customers, and increase sales pipeline and revenue.
- Develop technical skills in the RedHat portfolio that span Cloud, Automation, and AI solutions through training programs and industry‑recognized certifications.
- Apply technical skills through real‑world customer interactions, job shadowing, and participation in proof‑of‑value presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects.
- Enhance your qualified capabilities through continuous learning and skill‑development opportunities.
- Gain understanding of processes and tools associated with enterprise‑level solution architecture. Qualifications
- Passion and curiosity for open source technology and desire to build a career within the technology industry.
- Strong technical background in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields gained through university programs, bootcamps, certificate programs, or military experience.
- Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills in an Enterprise IT‑related project.
- Motivation for self‑directed learning on new technologies.
- Customer‑focused mindset, understanding customer needs and helping them achieve their goals.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and to work both in‑person from a RedHat office location and remotely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.
- Practical experience with IT infrastructure fundamentals, installation, configuration, and basic OS administration.
- Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming languages (e.g., Java, Go) is a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
