Associate Solutions Architect (City of Sydney)

The Solutions Architects (SA) organization is a diverse team that focuses on helping customers build infrastructures and applications at scale using AWS solutions. We are passionate about technology and relish the chances to dive deep and wide within the AWS platform in our quest to delight customers. Key job responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their business requirements and technical challenges
- Design cloud architecture solutions using AWS services and best practices
- Support pre‑sales activities by providing technical expertise during customer meetings
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops to various audiences Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related science/technical fields.
- Graduated within the past 24 months.
- Experience with one of the programming languages
- Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, C++, or other modern computing languages.
- Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows). Preferred Qualifications
- Experience (up to 2 years) implementing a cloud‑based technology solution in a school project or while working for a company.
- Experience with one or more of the following domains
- Big Data, Analytics, Security, DevOps, Application Development, or Machine Learning Awareness of AWS or cloud computing.
