About the Role This is a key leadership role within Hidrive’s Design & Engineering function, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. The Group Engineering Manager will lead the Engineering department across Design Engineering and Innovation, ensuring alignment to business strategy, revenue growth and customer outcomes. You will play a critical role in enabling the business to realise the need of the mobile workforce by driving high-quality engineering outcomes, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient use of resources across teams. This role is suited to a commercially minded engineering leader who thrives in a rapid‑paced manufacturing environment and can translate technical capability into customer and business value. - Reporting About You Minimum requirements and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ Years of experience in a management role
- 3+ Years of experience in a trade‑orientated vocation, preferable but not essential
- Responsibility for profit & loss (P&L;)
- Risk and Change management Skills, Capability & Attributes
- Strong leadership with the ability to build and develop high‑performing teams
- Commercially minded, with a focus on revenue, efficiency and customer value
- Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical business outcomes
- Confident stakeholder engagement across senior leadership and cross‑functional teams
- Data‑driven, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability
