This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of major infrastructure investments, partnering closely with investment and asset management teams across Australia and the broader Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the SVP, Legal – Australia, you will play a hands‑on role across complex transactions, portfolio matters and corporate legal work within Brookfield Infrastructure.What you’ll doTransaction & Investment SupportSupport infrastructure M&A;, divestments and joint ventures from inception to completionAdvise on transaction structuring, NDAs and legal due diligenceReview and negotiate transaction documentation and step plansCoordinate regulatory approvals, conditions precedent and deal completionAssist with internal approvals and investment committee materialsAsset Management & Portfolio SupportAdvise on legal issues arising across portfolio companies and investment structuresReview major commercial contracts, litigation matters and regulatory investigationsCorporate & GovernanceSupport corporate legal matters for Brookfield Infrastructure’s listed parent entity, including disclosures, board materials, restructures and securities offeringsAssist with corporate structuring, fund flows, reorganisations and entity managementSupport broader corporate matters such as privacy, IP, licensing and modern slavery complianceWork closely with tax, finance, risk and compliance teams locally and globallyWho we’re looking forAdmitted solicitor in Australia (or equivalent jurisdiction)2+ years’ post‑admission experience in corporate or M&A; at a top‑tier law firmStrong commercial judgement with a practical, solutions‑focused mindsetConfident communicator, able to advise senior stakeholders clearly and conciselySelf‑driven, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing multiple complex mattersGenuinely interested in infrastructure, investments, business and financeWhy BrookfieldExposure to market‑leading infrastructure investments and complex cross‑border transactionsDirect access to senior decision‑makers and investment professionalsA collaborative, high‑performance culture within a truly global organisationBroad role offering real responsibility, learning and career developmentBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
