Senior Building Certification Administrator Up to $110k + super (dependent on experience) Overview The client is accredited with the NSW Government as a Building Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority. They offer a fresh approach to certification and consulting services, with an creative team of Accredited Building Certifiers who work hard to provide outstanding levels of service to their clients. Multiple offices throughout Sydney. Role The position is responsible for supporting the Building Surveying Team and providing a high level of customer service. Duties
- Review fee requests and Request for Tender (RFTs) from private and Government sectors and prepare and issue relevant Fee Proposals in accordance with due dates.
- Project co‑ordination: fee and project set up and communications, as well as invoice co‑ordination.
- Review consultancy agreements and contracts issued by clients to ensure consistency with our client’s Fee Proposal.
- Assist in preparing Construction Certificates / Occupation Certificates and Complying Development Certificates (CC/OC/CDC).
- Lodgements and updates to the NSW Planning Portal accurately and on time.
- BCS (Building Certification Systems) input and updates.
- External customer liaison via phone and email.
- Office management tasks as required (answering office phone, ordering stationery & consumables, etc).
- Comprehensive management of internal files and document review. About You
- Previous experience working for a building surveyor, builder or council (favourable).
- Communication skills with staff and clients.
- Co‑ordinating specific tasks.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Knowledge in residential permits desirable but not essential.
