Accounts Payable Administrator Neutral Bay (City of Sydney)

About the Role We are looking for a full‑time detail‑oriented and organised Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payments, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance operations. Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the end-to-end payables process, including invoice coding, verifying approvals, and processing in Xero and MYOB through to payment
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance team
- Prepare ad‑hoc related reports and tasks as required
- Respond to supplier queries and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Assist with month‑end closing activities
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient invoice approvals and workflows What we require from you
- Basic understanding of the Accounts Payable and purchases transaction stream
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team
- Aptitude for numbers
- Be well organised
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a dynamic workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
