A high growth AI and FinTech business is continuing to scale its engineering team as it builds modern lending technology platforms focused on scalability, security, and cloud infrastructure. With strong market traction and a high ownership culture, they’re investing heavily in building a best in class engineering setting.

You’ll work closely with founders and leadership, taking ownership across backend engineering, AWS infrastructure, DevOps, security, and architecture while helping shape the long term technical direction of the platform.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI and TypeScript
• Own AWS cloud infrastructure, security and production environments
• Build CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Contribute to architecture, authentication, scalability and technical direction
• Work closely with leadership on platform growth and engineering standards

What we’re looking for

• Strong backend engineering capability across Python or TypeScript
• Advanced AWS cloud infrastructure and architecture experience
• Strong understanding of security, authentication and scalable systems
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and cloud native environments
• Comfortable operating in fast moving, high growth engineering teams
• Engineers who enjoy ownership and solving complex technical problems
