Banking Test Engineer- city Based
- hybrid A large big 4 banking divestment program is seeking a Senior Test Engineer with deep expertise in banking product testing, data validation and able to work independently. This role is part of a major database migration initiative and will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data flows across diverse systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate robust analytical skills, comprehensive test documentation capabilities, and hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing involving SQL, mainframe, and .NET UI applications. Key Responsibilities
• Jump straight into a test environment and manage your own testing methodologies
- including test planning and scripting Develop and execute detailed test cases across databases, mainframe, UI ( applications, and file-based/flat file testing. •Validate data integrity and backend logic through advanced SQL testing. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments. Seeking someone with a minimum8 years’ experience in software testing in banking. •Strong hands-on experience database validation testing and UI testing. •Solid understanding of Agile testing principles and experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence. •Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills. •Proven experience in Banking/Financial Services domain.
