Solution Delivery Manager (City of Sydney)

About The Role The Solution Delivery Manager will partner with our Sales team to orchestrate the best‑fit solution of Professional Services offers to allow the customer to achieve their strategic goals in the most expedient and effective manner. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to define and refine the customer journey through execution and provide guidance to the Delivery Team ensuring successful implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Sales Account Executives and the Customer to orchestrate platform adoption and digital transformation journey.
- Strategize and define platform‑based solutions that best fit the short and long‑term needs of the Customer.
- Identify and define engagement parameters, duration, costs, and success criteria.
- Ensure proper hand‑over of engagement to the Delivery Team.
- Achieve the first milestone defined in the Customer’s platform adoption strategy.
- Act as an escalation point for customers with critical needs and triage solutions.
- Collaborate with global Shared Services and Success Adoption organizations to disseminate offers and success practices.
- Advocate company culture in all interactions with employees and customers.
- Drive innovation and make a positive impact on customers, team, and company. Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong customer orientation principles.
- Ability to address business value and total cost of ownership.
- Experience in Customer Success Management or Skilled Services with a record of delivering projects and managing technical accounts.
- Excellent communication skills for both management and technical audiences.
- Experience with technical customer base and corporate IT projects and processes.
- Ability to align organizations to corporate goals and directions.
- Track record in scoping solutions and defining statements of work.
- Action‑oriented, result‑driven attitude for successful engagements.
- Ability to work across geographies and cultures.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) or higher.
- Intellectual curiosity and sense of humour.
