Accounts Receivable Officer – Make an Impact in Aged Care This role isn’t simply about invoices and collections, it’s about people. We’re looking for someone who can combine financial know-how with empathy and problem-solving, working closely with residents, families and colleagues to find solutions. We’re specifically after someone for a max-term contract for 6 months , someone who can commit to this role for the duration and contribute meaningfully to our team. We don’t want buzzwords. As one of the most progressive and evolving not-for-profits in the sector, we’re on the lookout for an Accounts Receivable Officer who’s more than just numbers on a spreadsheet. What you’ll do
- Support the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of Accounts Receivable and Billing.
- Manage cash receipting, billing, credit control and funding reconciliation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal teams (Finance, Customer Relations, Admissions) and external clients.
- Liaise with customers and be comfortable on the phone, face to face or on email.
- Help new customers understand the process.
- Work with the sales team to help our new customers understand their bill.
- Help create positive outcomes by blending financial diligence with genuine care. What you’ll bring
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in collections.
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing or finance related roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A collaborative, customer focused approach – you enjoy problem solving and working with people.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task. Run billing, collection, and basic accounting of our debtors.
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
- Experience in Aged Care and/or Home Care, particularly using Epicor, is highly regarded; however, it is not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who demonstrate robust values, a solid work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn. Why Scalabrini?
