About the job Build strong partnerships and help schools and school systems implement IB programmes well, so that IB grows sustainably and partners receive consistent, high‑quality support. The role supports partnerships, portfolio health and growth through engagement, coordination and insight; it does not have authority to approve commercial terms, bind IB contractually, or take final economic decisions, all of which are exercised centrally. Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key partners (schools, groups, districts/systems).
- Ensure partners receive coordinated, practical support to implement IB programmes successfully in their context.
- Improve understanding and recognition of IB programmes and services with relevant stakeholders.
- Use data and feedback to identify risks, opportunities and priorities across the portfolio.
- Share local insights with IB teams to improve services, processes and the partner experience.
- Support growth in student cohorts and programme adoption.
- Support implementation of additional IB programmes and offerings.
- Adapt portfolio and partnership plans to local strategy, policy and stakeholder context.
- Share insight on trends, opportunities and risks, with recommended actions for CP&D; leadership.
- Represent IB in key local forums and coordinate internal responses to country-specific initiatives or issues. Qualifications
- Understanding of different school contexts (public, private and/or international) and how education systems operate.
- Experience managing partnerships or a portfolio of accounts, including retention, issue resolution and growth opportunities.
- Fluent in English; additional relevant local language skills are an advantage.
- Robust stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and turn insight into actions.
- Project and portfolio planning skills; relevant accreditation is a plus.
- Explicit written and verbal communication, including presenting and influencing.
- Comfort working across cultures and functions, with a collaborative approach.
