Credit Manager - Real Estate (City of Sydney)

A growing private credit fund is seeking a Credit Analyst / Manager to join its investment team focused on real estate lending transactions up to $40m across Australia. The fund provides development and investment finance to experienced property sponsors and developers. This is a broad, hands‑on role working closely with the Senior Originator, with exposure across the full deal lifecycle including credit analysis, structuring, execution and portfolio management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a highly commercial role within private credit, with strong exposure to deal‑making and borrower relationships. The Role
- Support the structuring and execution of real estate lending transactions up to $40m
- Conduct credit analysis and financial modelling across development and investment loans
- Analyse project feasibility, borrower strength and security structures
- Assist with deal structuring including loan terms, covenants and security packages
- Manage due diligence processes including legal, valuation and technical advisors
- Prepare credit papers and investment committee materials
- Work closely with the Senior Originator on transaction execution and borrower engagement
- Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and loan management Candidate Profile
- 3–10 years’ experience in a bank, private credit fund or debt advisory firm
- Experience analysing property development or investment finance transactions
- Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills
- Understanding of loan structuring, security and documentation
- Solid communication skills and ability to engage with borrowers and stakeholders The Opportunity
