The UTS Graduate School of Health is recruiting a 2-year fixed-term 0.3 FTE Lecturer in Psychology (Education focussed) to support our undergraduate and graduate diploma psychology programs through teaching and research. About the Role Psychology at UTS is experiencing exponential growth. Building on our successful Master of Clinical Psychology program, graduate diplomas in psychology have been offered since 2022, and undergraduate psychology programs commenced in 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Lecturer to join our supportive and energetic team to contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of psychology programs, and research, at UTS. This is a fixed-term (2-year) 0.3 FTE backfill position. The successful candidate will hold registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. About You You are a motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated knowledge in areas directly relevant to psychology, and the ability to teach and coordinate psychology subjects, contribute to curriculum development, and undertake empirical research. As a Lecturer, you will possess:
- A PhD in psychology (or equivalent).
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver innovative undergraduate or postgraduate psychology teaching and learning.
- A track record of high‑quality research outputs relative to opportunity.
- Capacity to supervise honours, master's or higher degree research students.
- Qualifications relevant to teaching (e.g. Grad Cert in Higher Ed).
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). What We Offer Base Salary Range: $125,240
- $148,229 pa (Level B), plus 17% superannuation (pension). The position is 0.3 FTE and will be made on a 2-year fixed-term basis.
