In this role, you'll: Lead the development, coordination and maintenance of annual budgets, periodic forecasts and financial plans, ensuring they are accurate, reliable and aligned with business priorities. Analyse financial performance against plans and targets, identifying variances, trends, risks and opportunities, and provide clear insights and recommendations to support effective decision‑making. Prepare high‑quality financial reports, dashboards and management information packs that give leaders timely visibility of business performance and support governance processes. Support business partnering activities by delivering financial modelling, scenario analysis and strategic insights that guide planning, prioritisation and resource allocation. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls, enhancing efficiency, standardisation and the overall quality of financial data. Conduct current‑ and future‑state process mapping, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of streamlined, compliant and fit‑for‑purpose financial practices. Maintain strong financial data integrity by ensuring consistent governance, documentation and reporting standards in line with organisational and audit requirements. Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and technical guidance to stakeholders and junior team members to uplift financial capability across the business. Current membership of a recognised accounting body (CA ANZ or CPA Australia). Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting within a complex organisational environment. Robust analytical and financial modelling capability, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience leading or contributing to finance process, systems or reporting improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and controls. Well‑developed stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, partner and collaborate effectively with operational and corporate teams.
