Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations. In this role, you'll help make sure investment proposals, business cases and funding bids across the Sydney Integration (SI) portfolio are well-coordinated, sequenced and aligned with Transport’s priorities. You’ll work with project teams, delivery partners, finance and asset teams to make sure funding decisions are clear, consistent and robust. Your work will make it easier for the branch to sequence investments, prepare high-quality funding bids, manage approvals and track progress across multiple projects. Key responsibilities
- Coordinating the preparation, submission and tracking of investment proposals and business cases across the SI portfolio.
- Providing advice and guidance on NSW Treasury, Infrastructure NSW (INSW) and Cabinet Office investment requirements.
- Monitoring the investment pipeline to ensure alignment with SI priorities and broader Transport sequencing.

- Tracking and reporting on investment approvals, funding decisions and conditions to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of business case processes and investment coordination practices.
- Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure consistency and quality of investment submissions. About you You’re someone who knows how investment processes work in a government workplace and can help make funding bids and business cases clear, accurate and robust. You work well with project teams, delivery partners, finance and asset teams to make sure submissions meet requirements and align with priorities. You’re organised, pragmatic and comfortable juggling multiple priorities without losing quality or clarity. You enjoy digging into the detail to spot risks, trade-offs or opportunities that others might miss and you use that insight to help decision-makers make confident, evidence-based decisions. Required qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated experience in investment coordination, portfolio management or business case development.
- Strong understanding of NSW Treasury, INSW and Cabinet Office investment and assurance processes.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outputs under pressure.
