The role You'll work directly with the CEO and Head of Delivery across multiple client engagements, food and beverage, retail, technology, and qualified services businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The primary domain is the finance function: AP, AR, month-end close, payroll, management reporting, and board pack production. As the methodology extends, so does your scope into revenue operations, procurement, HR, and supply chain. Day to day, you'll be running current state analysis, designing future state operating models, classifying workflows for automation or AI orchestration, owning the business logic layer during deployment, and engaging directly with CFOs, COOs, and founders. This is not a slide deck role. The output is a running, better business. What we're looking for
- 3–5 years in management consulting, strategy, or operations consulting — Big 4 or equivalent background preferred
- Genuine financial literacy — fluent in P&L;, balance sheet, and management accounts, credible in front of a CFO
- Strong structured thinking — you can decompose a messy operating problem and design something logical and buildable
- Comfortable with AI and automation — you don't need to code, but you need to understand how these tools work well enough to design around them
- Direct, confident communicator — productive in stakeholder interviews, crisp in written outputs, composed in executive presentations What will set you apart
- Finance transformation, ERP implementation, or technology-led process improvement experience
- Exposure to mid-market, growth-stage, or founder-led businesses
- Hands‑on familiarity with workflow automation or AI-enabled finance and operations tooling
- Scope beyond finance — RevOps, procurement, HR ops, supply chain What's on offer
