About the venue... Bopp & Tone reflects the nostalgic and optimistic post WW2 era, embodying every day opulence and grandeur. The style is lived-in luxury, with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The Australian menu, centres around honest and generous share food with Mediterranean influences, and is predominantly cooked on the in-house wood grill or charcoal oven.

About the role.. As Head Waitstaff, you will provide high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer experiences in line with our company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a section of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service and high standards are maintained.
- Greet, seat, and engage with guests, providing professional and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Take and coordinate food and beverage orders, with detailed knowledge of menus, daily specials, and wine pairings.
- Oversee and support junior wait staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback.
- Manage table allocations, coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining service standards and supporting overall restaurant operations. Skills and Experience To be considered, you must have:

- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
- A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate. Salary and Conditions This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $80,000 Grade 4+ plus superannuation, in accordance with industry standards. Weekend and evening work will be required.
