- Startup culture with corporate backing — grow fast, learn fast, earn fast Your Responsibilities As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your mission is to identify, engage, and convert SMBs into active KPay merchants. Your role will involve:
- New Business Sales: Prospect and acquire recent clients via cold calling, field sales, door-to-door, and networking
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Execute outreach strategies to create a pipeline of high-potential merchants
- End-to-End Sales Process: Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting, pitching, objection handling to closing deals
- Client Onboarding & Support: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience, troubleshoot early-stage issues, and provide merchant support
- Account Management: Build long-term merchant relationships, drive upsells and product adoption
- Territory Development: Help shape our Australian go-to-market (GTM) strategy and develop regional sales campaigns Who We\'re Looking For We\'re seeking high-performing B2B sales professionals or field sales specialists with a passion for growth and hustle. You are:
- Sales-Driven: Proven experience in B2B sales , field sales , door-to-door sales , merchant services , or payments
- Results-Oriented: You thrive in a target-driven environment and consistently exceed KPIs
- People-Focused: Excellent communication, rapport-building, and interpersonal skills
- Resilient & Agile: You stay composed under pressure and adapt quickly to change
- Growth Mindset: You\'re hungry to learn, earn, and grow your career in fintech
- Face-to-Face Sales Experience is required (retail, B2B, hospitality, or telco considered)
- Coachable: Willing to learn fintech products
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia (visa sponsorship not available) Bonus Points For:
- Experience in face-to-face sales, merchant acquisition, POS system, and digital payments
- Previous exposure to fintech, F&B; industry, or startup environments
