Technical Insurance Specialist – 6‑month contract Are you an insurance, legal or claims expert passionate about driving positive change and innovation? This 6‑month contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to WTW’s growth and business targets across Corporate, Risk and Broking for the Pacific region. Role You will apply your in‑depth knowledge of policy contract wordings to:
- Be the subject matter expert across various classes of insurance policies, including property, general liability, motor, construction and financial lines
- Provide technical contribution to business initiatives and growth ambitions, including participation in tenders
- Develop, lead and innovate Willis manuscript wordings
- Review new insurer wordings and drive Willis bespoke endorsements
- Draft client manuscript wordings where applicable
- Engage with insurers, brokers and clients on technical policy interpretation
- Develop, support and maintain a governance framework for insurance product development
- Act as the escalation point for contract reviews and other technical matters
- Leverage learnings from claims and contract performance to author briefing papers and thought leadership
- Lead technical training initiatives Qualifications
- Robust market advocacy and client/carrier relationship development
- Minimum of 3 years experience in insurance claims, product development or technical advisory, with strong technical and analytical capabilities
- Industry specialist and trusted adviser
- Degree qualified, preferably in Law
- Critical thinker with attention to detail, ownership and team‑oriented mindset
- Exceptional project management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
