# Embedded Software Engineer (Firmware)* Sydney, NSW (hybrid)* Full time* AU$120–150k + super + ESOP* Closes July 15, 2026We’re hiring an embedded software engineer to extend the firmware platform powering Endoconnect and our next-generation switching hardware. You’ll own features end-to-end — from bench prototype through hospital validation.### What you’ll do* Design, implement, and test embedded firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M.* Work with hardware engineers on board bring-up and silicon validation.* Author software-design documents under IEC 62304.* Contribute to our cyber-security disclosure and patching process.### What we’re looking for* 3+ years embedded firmware experience.* Familiarity with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS.* Bonus: prior medical-device experience and IEC 62304 exposure.* Australian working rights.## Ready to apply?Send your CV and a short cover note — we read every application.Apply for this role
