- $34.71 per hour plus superannuation Hours Per Week : 20 (Must be available Monday, Tuesday & every 2nd Wednesday) Requisition ID : REQ Location : The Sutherland Hospital, Caringbah Applications Close : 26 May 2026 About the Role We are looking for a Level 2 Receptionist to join our team at The Sutherland Hospital, Southcare, Community and Aged Care. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and the public, delivering high‑quality service and administrative excellence. Key responsibilities include providing reception, switchboard and administrative support to a multidisciplinary service and delivering an exceptional standard of customer service to aged and extended care clients, families, carers and partner organisations. Responsibilities Support the reception desk 20 hours per week; must cover Monday, Tuesday and every 2nd Wednesday. Work closely with the administration team to support the multidisciplinary community service. Selection Criteria
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise with limited direction or guidance.
- Demonstrated experience in computer skills with accurate data entry and high‑level knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Access and Excel based software. Hospital databases are preferable but not essential.
- Solid organisational skills, ability to prioritise and juggle a variety of complex functions requiring judgement and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with reception duties.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written/ verbal communication; ability to liaise effectively.
- Demonstrated customer service commitment; ability to liaise with outside organisations and clients on behalf of the team while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and share relief responsibilities with other administrative staff. Information for Applicants
