Job Details Project Manager – Development Projects (High‑Rise Residential) – Sydney Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Salary: AUD 220,000 – 260,000 + Superannuation (Negotiable) Employment Type: Full‑Time Industry: Property Development / Residential Construction We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Development Projects to lead large‑scale high‑rise residential developments in Sydney. This role will manage projects from Development Application (DA) and Construction Certificate (CC) approvals through construction and final handover , ensuring full compliance with Australian building regulations and NSW statutory requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a senior Project Manager with strong Sydney residential development experience and knowledge of local authority processes. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Class 1 and Class 2 residential development projects in Sydney
- Lead DA, CC, and statutory approvals with local councils and authorities
- Oversee builders, subcontractors, consultants, certifiers, and surveyors
- Control project budget, schedule, forecasting, and risk management
- Administer contracts in accordance with Australian Standards
- Ensure compliance with:
- National Construction Code (NCC)
- State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP)
- BASIX requirements
- Green Building Council of Australia standards
- SafeWork NSW and WHS regulations
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical or delivery issues
- Coordinate inspections and authority approvals
- Prepare executive‑level project reports Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Sydney residential construction or development
- Strong experience managing DA & CC processes in NSW
- High‑rise or multi‑storey residential project experience
- Solid knowledge of contracts, budgeting, programming, and compliance
