Job Title Teacher Learning and Support – Bass High School (0000B9NJ) Location Sydney Region Advertisement Number A Number of Positions 1 Remuneration Package Up to $156,253.00 total. Base salary $90,177–$137,861 plus leave loading and superannuation. Relocation support payment $5,000–$8,000 (eligible only) and a recruitment bonus up to $20,000 (conditions apply). School Bass High School (co‑educational, years 7‑12, over 800 students). A Support Unit provides programs for students with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities and autism. The school serves a diverse student population and works closely with parents, carers and community support officers. The Learning & Support Team is led by a Head Teacher Learning & Support. Qualifications and Experience
- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs and/or experience teaching such students in regular classes.
- Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students with learning and support needs in regular classrooms.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents/carers and external agencies to develop and implement learning and wellbeing adjustments through behaviour support plans and personalised learning plans.
- Proven ability to analyse and use student performance data to inform intervention and monitor progress. Conditions
- Unconditional full approval to teach is required; candidates without a full approval must commence the application process concurrently with this application.
- Relocation support payment of $5,000–$8,000 available for eligible applicants.
- Recruitment bonus up to $20,000 (conditions apply) on a pro‑rata basis for permanent part‑time teachers and executive staff.
- Position qualifies for permanent part‑time employment; candidates must indicate desired FTE (up to the maximum). No changes to FTE will be permitted once an offer is made.
