About the Role We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant (3-4 days per week) to join our Sydney CBD-based finance team. Reporting to our GM Finance, this hands-on role is the engine behind the day-to-day financial operations that keep a multi-division property group running smoothly. Working closely with the finance team across Accounts Payable and Receivable, bank reconciliations, credit cards, and payroll, this role would suit a strong bookkeeper who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being a reliable, trusted part of a small team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the Accounts Payable platform, including timely payment of creditors
- Preparing Accounts Receivable invoices and following up outstanding amounts
- Preparing daily bank reconciliations
- Managing monthly payroll, including superannuation, payroll tax, and workers compensation compliance
- Supporting the Financial Accountant with company credit card management About You You are a detail-oriented, collaborative professional who is equally comfortable working autonomously and as part of a close-knit team. - Solid bookkeeping or assistant accountant experience

- Experience with accounting software
- Demonstrated payroll experience, including compliance obligations
- Solid attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High EQ and the ability to build relationships across a diverse, multi-division organisation
