Program Description Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program is a 10 week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone’s culture. Primary Responsibilities
- Working with the team to perform due diligence on prospective investments and participating in all aspects of the investment process from origination to deal closing. Responsibilities will include meeting with potential borrowers and their teams, industry/strategy research, quantitative or financial analysis, and drafting investment memoranda for internal and external use
- Modeling and evaluating various types of deal structures
- Assisting with the structuring and negotiating of deal term sheets
- Reviewing credit agreements and other loan documentation
- Thinking creatively about ways to improve the team’s existing processes Qualifications Blackstone seeks individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, a successful candidate will have:
- Prior relevant internship experience is desirable, or solid interest in private investing
- A desire to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks
- Strong financial modeling skills, with past experience modeling and evaluating transactions
- Excellent technical proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience preparing presentation materials using PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and good judgment
- Intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic Eligibility
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
- Anticipated graduation date: students who graduate between mid-2027 and early-2028

- Summer Analyst Program: 10 weeks between November 2026 – February 2027 Additional Considerations Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:
- Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or client questions;
- Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients;
- Supervising or training securities licensed employees;
- Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and
- Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.
