Description
RSK Australia and New Zealand We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time experienced HR professional to join our HR team and help put the right people practices and foundations in place to support rapid growth. The role is office based with flexibility. While Sydney is the preferred location, we are open to candidates based in other major east coast hubs aligned with our key operating centres across Australia. RSK Australia and New Zealand brings together a number of specialist environmental, engineering and construction businesses. Each business has its own history and identity, but works as part of the wider RSK Group. This creates a varied and sometimes complex people workplace, and this role plays a key part in helping the business manage that well. This is a hands‑on HR role for someone who is comfortable working in a changing setting and helping leaders deal with the people challenges that come with growth and acquisition. You will work closely with the Australian and New Zealand leadership teams, while also working collaboratively with the International HR team, under the direction and guidance of the Group Head of International HR Operations. Together, you will help deliver the RSK Group Strategy across the Australian and New Zealand businesses. Responsibilities
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses from a people, culture and HR perspective.
- Helping to put in place consistent HR approaches across the Australian and New Zealand businesses, while allowing flexibility where needed.
- Partnering with leaders and existing HR professionals on performance, structure, recognition, capability and team development.
- Supporting workforce planning to meet business needs, particularly in growth areas such as energy transition, water, environmental and engineering.
- Working with hiring managers to support and advise on recruitment processes; partnering with Group Head of Talent Attraction to leverage group‑wide investment such as the RSK LinkedIn partnership to maximise reach and impact of recruitment.
- Advising and supporting leaders through organisational change as the business continues to expand.
- Helping to shape and embed a clear and practical people culture across RSK Australia and New Zealand.
- Helping to deliver both the RSK Group and RSK Australia People strategy across the Australian and New Zealand businesses. This role involves strategic input and day‑to‑day delivery. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business rather than operating at arm's length. Not everything is fully defined, and you will be expected to help shape practical HR solutions as the organisation evolves. Person Specification
- Previous proven experience in an HR business partnering or senior HR role.
- Experience in skilled services, consulting, engineering or similar environments.
- Comfortable supporting business integration, organisational change and growth.
- Able to advise senior leaders with confidence and credibility.
- Commercially aware and able to link people decisions to business needs.
- Happy working at both a strategic and operational level.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, employment risk and governance. Why RSK Australia
- The chance to play a key role in shaping how a growing Australian and New Zealand business develops.
- Exposure to a range of different businesses and leadership teams.
- Real influence over people decisions, not just process.
- Flexible working and a role with national scope.
- An opportunity to make a meaningful contribution during a period of growth. Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Life Assurance
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including for your family
- Regular training and career development RSK Group is an equal opportunities employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rw8xa
