- Deliver high-quality teaching through lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops, and clinical sessions across Psychology programs.
- Develop and coordinate subject material, including preparation of course content and assessment tasks.
- Supervise honours and postgraduate students.
- Conduct research and contribute to the scholarly output of the school, while engaging in relevant professional activities.
- Provide academic support through student consultation, marking, and feedback, and participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Undertake administrative duties related to teaching and comply with institutional policies, procedures, and governance requirements. Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- PhD in Psychology (or equivalent accreditation and standing).
- Proven ability to design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality teaching across psychosocial determinants of health, developmental psychology for educators and health practitioners, contemporary family issues, and community mental health, informed by contemporary developments in psychology education.
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Board approved supervisor status from the Psychology Board of Australia is desirable.
- Training in critical psychology or behavioural sciences is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated research track record or potential in psychology, relative to career stage.
- Capacity to supervise student research in Psychology effectively. Benefits
