Assistant Brand & Digital Manager (City of Sydney)

Plant, grow, play: What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a key support to the Marketing team across the full ‘growing’ portfolio working on new products, packaging artwork, launches and communications.
- Manage and grow our influencer tribe and social media presence (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok) and email newsletter with engaging, on-brand content that drives views and engagement.
- Support NPD processes, including packaging design, approvals, and scheduling, ensuring every new launch is as bold as it is brilliant.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels with consistency, charm, and a touch of wit.
- Assist in developing and executing annual brand plans, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with external partners to deliver disruptive, unmissable brand initiatives.
- Own the day-to-day management of the brand budget, track expenses, and process invoices.
- Create presentations and provide brand updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Elevate our online brand presence and streamline the path to purchase across retailers and our owned platforms.

- A degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe and Capcut or similar
- 2-3 years in marketing, brand management, advertising, graphic design or media with digital platforms as your playground
- A creative mindset balanced with a clear understanding of marketing fundamentals and a knack for storytelling.
- Experience in managing social media, websites, email newsletters and other online platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for interpreting data and spotting trends.
- A positive attitude, ready to collaborate and drive results.
- Previous exposure to managing budgets and projects effectively.
- An interest in plants or gardening is desirable, because it never hurts to be rooted in what we do. Travel & Vehicle Requirements Occasional travel to nearby sites and client visits, with the possibility of the occasional interstate trip.
