About the role
Skyreach Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Hire Controller to join our team in St Marys, New South Wales. In this crucial role, you will be responsible the allocation of our equipment and transporters to support our clients' orders. As a Hire Controller, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless delivery of our services and the satisfaction of our valued customers. What you'll be doing 1. Coordinate the hiring and allocation of equipment, vehicles, and other resources to meet client demands 2. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure timely and efficient delivery of hired items 3. Maintain accurate records of all hire transactions and equipment availability 4. Collaborate with the sales, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure the availability and readiness of hired items 5. Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders 6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of hiring strategies What we're looking for 1. Proven experience in a hire controller or similar customer-facing administrative role, preferably within the equipment hire or logistics industry 2. Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams 4. Proficient in using relevant software and technology, such as inventory management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools 5. A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality service 6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of shared goals What we offer
