As we continue to expand our electrical division, we’re looking for an experienced Solar Electrician to join the team. The Role You’ll be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and servicing residential and commercial solar PV and battery systems across Sydney. Work Structure (Important):
- Battery Installations: You will receive 2 trained helpers onsite dedicated to battery installshandling lifting, cable runs, packing down, and general assistance so you can focus on electrical and commissioning tasks.
- Solar PV Installations: You will not be required to climb roofs. Our dedicated roofing team completes all roof-mounting, panel installation, railings, and rooftop work. As an electrician, you arrive directly onsite to complete the switchboard wiring, testing, commissioning, and compliance, then head home once your work is finished.
- Overtime: Overtime is available and paid for additional hours. Office admin handles all scheduling, customer communication, compliance paperwork, and job preparation so you can focus solely on delivering quality installations. Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission PV systems
- Install and commission battery energy storage systems
- Fault-find and repair PV/battery issues
- Supervise and mentor apprentices and helpers
- Complete compliance documentation and site reports
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment What You’ll Need
- NSW Electrical Licence
- SAA Accreditation – Solar & Battery (required)
- Working at Heights & White Card
- Full driver’s licence
- Minimum 1 year of solar PV installation (battery experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork What We Offer
