**About our Opportunity**

This role is an interdepartmental support role where you will add value to the broader business by offering a diverse scope of support to our Planning, Purchasing and Inventory team. You're a specialist support involved in inventory management, production reporting, cost estimating and month end transactions. You will enjoy being constantly challenged in this role, laying invaluable foundations to grow and take your career in any direction you wish.

In addition, you will:

- carry out monthly execution and reporting of stocktake
- process and report monthly on raw and finished goods
- process quotes and orders as well as check orders for errors and accuracy
- interpret architectural plans, shop floor drawings and BOQ’s and convert to a quote or order within our system
- build and cost estimate custom products
- schedule deliveries
- maintain and update inventory data in our ERP system and coordinate with the production, purchasing, and logistics departments to resolve any inventory issues or discrepancies

**About You**

We're looking to leverage your previous experience in administration and customer service with at least exposure to or understanding of inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, or logistics. Have technical acumen to allow you to successfully build custom products and provide cost estimates for special orders. We’re looking for a team player with good people and relationship skills, someone who isn't easily flustered in a fast paced role and willingness to contribute to a positive work environment, as essential to success in this role.

You must be/have:

- systematic, methodical and process-orientated administrator
- enthusiasm to work in a rapidly changing & challenging manufacturing environment
- industry or product knowledge
- data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- experience with analytics and associated tools e.g. MS Excel and pivot tables, Power BI / Qlikview, etc, highly regarded
- versatile and able to work autonomously
