Works Supervisor – General Maintenance Location: Tamworth, New South Wales Employment Type: Full-time Take charge of civil works that make a real community impact; supervise crews and drive high-quality outcomes on impactful projects; step into a leadership role with autonomy and responsibility. Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the team
- Allocating project roles and responsibilities across the team
- Ensuring training plans are in place to comply with legislative requirements to maintain required skills
- Monitoring works to ensure completion in accordance with agreed plans and timing
- Maintaining standards and specifications including environmental, WHS and quality requirements
- Traffic control plans and risk management plans
- Assisting the Works Coordinator as required.
- Carrying out daily routine checks, monitoring and maintenance activities Qualifications
- NSW Driver’s Licence
- Formal qualifications in Civil Construction to Certificate III of a higher level and/or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience and knowledge of road, drainage and bridge construction and maintenance with the ability to ensure works are completed satisfactorily in accordance with technical specifications, plans, designs and within budget. Salary and Benefits Salary range: Grade 13
- $79,655.81 to $86,193.78 per annum plus superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience, and your value to our organisation. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements. Benefits
