Availability: 7:00 – 15:00 Mon‑Fri (plus occasional weekend or public holiday shifts). The position requires a pre‑employment check and a National Police Check. Responsibilities
- Design, style and build room sets, displays and vignettes that are functional, affordable and visually compelling
- Use customer insights, including local trends and home visits, to create relevant, real‑life solutions
- Collaborate with sales and cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless and commercially robust store experiences
- Contribute to store projects, seasonal changes and layout improvements
- Stay up to date with interior design trends and retail best practices
- Ensure high standards of visual presentation, safety and efficiency on the shop floor Qualifications
- A qualification in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, or a related field
- Experience in retail, styling or spatial design (ideal but not essential)
- Strong visual and aesthetic judgement with attention to detail
- Ability to develop and communicate design concepts clearly
- Confidence working with power tools and physically building installations
- Collaborative approach and ability to influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch Up, Revit or similar
- Ability to work at pace and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
