Maintenance Inspector – Residential Properties

NSW Based | Travel Required | Training Provided

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Maintenance Inspectors conducting inspections across residential properties throughout New South Wales.

This chance is ideal for candidates with a background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building, Construction or Trades, looking for flexible field-based work with full training provided.

No prior inspection experience is required — we will provide all necessary training and support to help you succeed in the role.

We are currently seeking inspectors based in: Tamworth

Candidates must also be willing and available to travel outside of their local area from time to time.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting on the condition of residential properties. The role requires robust attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities Conduct residential property condition inspections Identify maintenance issues and defects Complete detailed inspection reports using an iPad Communicate professionally with clients and occupants Travel to various locations across NSW as required

To Be Considered, Applicants Must Hold One of the Following: Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building, or Building Surveying Associate Diploma Applied Science (Building) – TAFE Certificate in Building Foreman & Clerk of Works – TAFE Diploma in Building Studies – TAFE Certificate IV in Residential Construction – TAFE Current NSW Builders Licence or equivalent qualification

Essential Requirements Advanced English communication skills Based in NSW Own reliable vehicle Current ABN iPad with internet connectivity Strong eye for detail and ability to work independently
