Preschool Educator BTAC (Tamworth)

8:00am-4:00pm $33.84-$35.80 per hour Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College is an independent Preschool to Year 12 co‑educational school offering a caring, Christian environment for our students and staff. We have an exciting prospect for a passionate and dedicated Advanced Child Care Worker to join our Preschool at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College. Reporting to the Preschool Director, some of the key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children
- Contribute to the educational programme under the direction of the Preschool Director to provide a high‑quality programme for all children
- Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Preschool Director Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training
- Previous experience as a Child Care Worker within an education and care setting and experience in contributing to an educational programme
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team context
- Ability to multi‑task
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Professional and personal integrity
- High standard of organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Valid Working with Children Check and completion of National Police Check
