Customer Service Somerton

Nice Backyard is a growing supplier of landscaping, building, gardening, and fencing materials based in Somerton, VIC. We’re also known for delivering high-quality front yard and backyard transformation projects across Melbourne. We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our friendly, fast-paced front‑of‑house team. About the Role
- Assist customers with product inquiries, quotes, orders, and general support.
- Provide accurate information on landscaping and building materials (training provided).
- Manage POS transactions, receipts, invoicing, and customer accounts.
- Maintain customer records in our CRM and ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with the reception, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve customer needs quickly and professionally.
- Help create a positive and organized front desk environment. What We’re Looking For
- Robust customer service experience — retail, hospitality, admin, or call centre backgrounds all welcome.
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional manner.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Robust problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn industry‑specific products.
- Confident using Outlook, POS systems, CRM platforms, and general computer skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and a supportive team player.
- No landscaping or building experience is required — training will be provided. Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Subcontract, Casual Pay: $49,900.00
