Registered Nurse (Part‑Time) Location: Gunnedah District Hospital, Gunnedah, NSW. Hours: 32 per week. Salary: $37.48 – $52.62 per hour plus 12% super, salary packaging and incentives. Position is permanent part‑time. About the Role Join a close‑knit, multi‑skilled team at Gunnedah Health Service where you will work with other clinicians in the Emergency Department. This hands‑on role allows you to expand your clinical scope and deepen your experience in an acute setting. You will care for emergency patients at the front line, ensuring safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care at every stage. The level 3 Emergency Department offers 24/7 medical and Nurse Practitioner coverage, giving you opportunities to grow confidence and capability in a supported rural setting. Qualifications Essential:
- Authorised to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Recent experience in acute care or emergency nursing
- Proficiency in triage, A–G assessment, and time management
- Competence in point‑of‑care testing (POC) and safe clinical decision‑making
- Collaborative, patient‑centred approach aligned with our CORE Values Desirable:
