Chef/cook Midcoast Council (Mid-Coast Council)

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Chef/Cook to join our dynamic team with the RSL Memorial Club Group. As a full‑time Chef/cook, you will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our valued customers. - Lake Cathie, Manning Point, Wingham and Dubbo

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our menu and customer requirements

Ensuring all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workplace in compliance with health and safety regulations

Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop recent menu items and improve existing dishes

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Providing excellent customer service and responding to any customer inquiries or feedback

What we're looking for

Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential

Demonstrated experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment

Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient meal preparation

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
